Humans of Britannica ELT

 A very memorable moment in my life was when my favorite teacher retired from her job. She was a special teacher, not only for me, but for the whole class. She was always very supportive of us and tried to motivate us to improve and give our best. When she told us the news, the class immediately broke into tears, and so did I. It was upsetting to see her go after 40 years of teaching at our school. I look forward to meeting her in the future as her former student. Jon Fejzullahu, 12 years old

"I like science. When I grow up I want to be a scientist. I like science because new things can always be invented and I enjoy doing that. My favorite scientist is Albert Einstein. A fun fact about him is that he was unable to speak until he became 10. My happiest day was my first day in Britannica, where made new friends, especially my friend Eris." Durim Fazliu, 7 years old

My dream is to become a boxer in the future. I started liking boxing when I saw ‘The Rock’. It motivated me. I also like math very much. Soon I am going to attend karate classes because I like karate too. My happiest day was the day when I, my brother and our cousin had so much fun while playing with snowballs and riding our bikes. "When I grow up, I want to be a doctor for children. I would like to be a doctor because I wish to help others. I also like singing. People tell me I have a lovely voice. I started singing when I was in kindergarten. I used to recite poetries only. If I could choose another profession, I’d like to be a famous singer. My happiest event was my stay in Germany. "I play football at Prishtina football club. I am really good at playing football, which is why I went to Germany for a tournament. I started playing football when I was 5 years old. I was very happy when they chose me to go to the Germany tournament. I was very excited because I was going there with my friends and my coach but not my parents. It was a very good experience. My passion is art. In the future I want to be an architect, because I can draw really well." Anes Krasniqi, 11 years old 

"I like dentistry. My dream is to become a dentist, because I like fixing other people’s teeth. I also do gymnastics, which I enjoy a lot. Since I was a little girl I had talent in gymnastics. I have a lot of friends in my gymnastics course. My happiest day was when my little brother was born. I was 2 or 3 years old when it happened. Although I was a bit jealous of my little brother back then, now I love him so much." Anika Osmani, 10 years old

"My life is quite normal. I love Britannica and I love English. I go to a music school where I play the violin. I am an excellent student. Every day is my favourite day, because it shows me how I grow up. My dream is to play violin to people in the future. I wish to visit the world with my family and violin too. I do not have an idol that I look up to, but I love my family the most. When I grow up I want to be an architect or an astronaut." Art Krasniqi, 10 years old
