" I first learned German from the TV, I started watching animated movies when I was 9/10 years old,and I started learning quick like all the kids would do in my age, then I started buying books and then I kind of taught myself... I noticed that I really liked German and I was learning it quick . At the same time I was also learning English. When i just started to understand English I watched english channels with German subtitles, that way I was learning English and German at the same time. Then in high school I had a lot of language subjects and one of my professors, he was german and he held extra classes for those who were interested because the school offered, so I learned a lot from him including writing in German. Then I decided to study German in university and after I graduated I started working in Britannica, and I love it here because there's a lot of interested people who want to learn German that have different reasons and are different ages, and that makes it a lot funnier... a lot of my pupils know English and this makes it a lot easier for them to learn German because as we all know English is a German language. One of the perks of knowing German is that this language it's considered like one of the most difficult languages in the world so not everyone can speak it fluently, so you're kind of more privileged than the others. If I would have to convince anyone to learn German I would only say this to them: German is a language not only spoken in Germany but in a lot other countries in Europe so you have your doors open to any of those countries whenever you want to go there....I'm not saying it's not hard, I mean a lot of people joke about the Einstein question '' To be or not to be?'' they say it was '' Der, die or das?'' but if you love it enough I'm sure that you can also learn it. " I usually don't express myself with words, I express myself by drawing and art. I love thinking about the future too, I'm very sure of what and where I'm going to study. I know that I'll study architecture and I will study abroad. Except these things I love Italy and photography. I love Italy because of its culture. A lot of people say that France is known for fashion but actually Italy is the country of fashion and culture. As you can see, I love art and everything related to it. Hi , I’m Frida Fetiu. I am 13 years old. I go to “Ismail Qemali” elementary school. I really like Japanese language and culture. I take time out of my day to study the language. They don’t use Latin letters , they use their own alphabet. Some of the more complicated letters are called “Kanji”. Their culture is unique like every other Asian culture. Unlike European cultures which tend to have similarities, Asian cultures differ from one another and Japanese culture is very fascinating. They have their own way of dressing and unique traits. I really want to visit Japan one day. I think it is a great country with very interesting sights, and its well known for its discipline. I would like to study Japanese culture and language when I grow up. If that is not possible I would love to become a veterinarian. I have a deep fondness of animals and I myself own a cat.
"I like science. When I grow up I want to be a scientist. I like science because new things can always be invented and I enjoy doing that. My favorite scientist is Albert Einstein. A fun fact about him is that he was unable to speak until he became 10. My happiest day was my first day in Britannica, where made new friends, especially my friend Eris." Durim Fazliu, 7 years old
